Tech support has a reputation problem, and it is earned. Here is where this business stands on the three things worth knowing up front.
Brandon Ruiz owns the business and does the work. Not a call centre, not a dispatcher, not an offshore queue — one local technician who gives you a name and turns up.
Diagnosis is $99, and it is waived when you go ahead with the repair. You get a clear quote before any work starts, so nothing on the invoice is a surprise.
We are an independent service provider. We are not Microsoft, Apple, Dell, HP or Lenovo, and we are not authorised by them — we just fix the equipment they make.

LB Computer Help is a mobile computer and IT repair business owned and operated by Brandon Ruiz, serving Long Beach and the surrounding Los Angeles County area. This page explains what this website collects, why, who it goes to, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.
The contact and quote forms ask for your name, email address, phone number, the type of service you need, and a description of your problem. You choose what to put in the message box — please do not put passwords, card numbers or account credentials in it.
Form submissions are delivered to us through Formspree, a third-party form service. Your submission passes through and is stored on Formspree's systems in order to reach our inbox. If you book through the scheduler, that booking is handled by Calendly, and the name, email and time you give it are held by them.
If you call us, we keep the phone number, the time of the call, and notes about what you need, so we can follow up and do the work.
Google Analytics 4 (property G-C7LHNFKCEG) records how the site is used — pages viewed, roughly where in the world the visit came from, and what kind of device it was. It uses cookies and similar identifiers.
Google Ads conversion tracking (account AW-17531404422) tells us when a visit that began with one of our ads led to a call, a form or a booking. This uses a Google click identifier ("gclid") carried in the link you arrived on.
Call tracking. If you arrive from one of our ads, Google may display a temporary forwarding number in place of our published number (213) 349-6790. Calls to it ring straight through to us, and Google reports the call back to our ads account. We see the call; we do not record it from the website.
ClickFortify (tracker.clickfortify.com) checks paid clicks for fraud — bots, repeat clicking and competitor clicking. To do that it records technical signals about the visit, including IP address and device characteristics.
Standard web-server logs record IP address, browser type and the pages requested.
To answer your enquiry, quote and schedule work, do the work, take payment, keep records for tax and warranty purposes, protect our advertising from click fraud, and understand which pages and which ads actually help people find us. We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising in exchange for money. We have never done so.
We do share it with the service providers named above — Formspree, Calendly, Google, ClickFortify — strictly so they can perform their function for us, and with a payment processor when you pay an invoice. We will also disclose information where the law requires it.
Note that the advertising and analytics tools above are operated by Google, and under California law the use of such tools can count as "sharing" for advertising purposes even with no money involved. You can opt out using the controls in the next section.
Cookies. Your browser can block or delete cookies. Doing so will not stop you using this site.
Google Analytics. Google publishes an opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Ad personalisation. You can turn it off in your Google account settings.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sharing for advertising.
Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you and where it came from, to delete it, to correct it, to opt you out of sale or sharing, and to limit how we use sensitive information. You may make a request through an authorised agent.
We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights — you will get the same service at the same price.
To make a request, email support@lbcomputerhelp.com or call (213) 349-6790. We will need to verify who you are before we act, usually by confirming details you have already given us. We aim to respond within 45 days.
Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept up to two years. Records of completed work, invoices and anything needed for tax are kept as long as the law requires, generally seven years. Analytics data follows Google's own retention settings.
The site is served over HTTPS and access to enquiries is limited to the owner. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we will not claim otherwise. Please do not send passwords or payment card details through the contact form.
This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this page.
